Bangkok, Thailand, Feb. 16, 2023 – Building on the momentum of a post-pandemic come-back, the Thailand chapter of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) revealed details of its awaited event, the 12th Symposium.
This year’s 12th Thailand Symposium spotlighted the many gaps made evident by the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for aggressive intervention by means of Precision Medicine, especially within the anti-aging and aesthetic practice. Addressing the continued strain on the anti-aging solutions which are generic and their impact on overall population health, the symposium agenda delved into case studies and outcomes, disparities in healthcare, and disregard for Precision Medicine.
The 12th A4M Thailand Symposium hosted key stakeholders, clinicians, researchers, educators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe. To add to the celebration of great health, a star-studded Martial Arts Hall of Fame Award was brought to the symposium by Dr. Robert Goldman as he spearheaded alongside Prof Dato’ Sri Dr Mike Chan, the World Martial Arts Masters. Three in-depth education programs ran alongside the general agenda offering certifications in advanced dermatology cardiology, systems biology, and peptide therapeutics.
The two-day Symposium, lead by the European Wellness Academy, officially kicked off with a welcoming ceremony featuring Dr. Manus Potaporn (Deputy Director General of the Department of Medical Services, Thailand) as the Guest of Honor hosted by the A4M Thailand President, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, Dr. Jakkriss Bhumisawasdi (A4M Thailand Honorary President) and Dr. Robert Goldman (The A4M Founder).
Other notable VIPs present included distinguished experts and representatives from Thailand’s Ministry of Health, Dr. Wonchat Subhachaturas (Advisor to Secretary of the Medical Council of Thailand), Prof. Dr. Chagriya Kitiyakara (Mahidol University Faculty of Medicine), Mr. Jacky Wong (Executive Director of CISW Holding Group), Mrs Saowapa Jongkitipong (Director of International Health Division, Ministry of Public Health), Dr. Supa Pengpid (Mahidol University Faculty of Public Health), Assoc. Attendance numbers rivaled the pre-pandemic symposium, drawing in participants from all over the country and across the globe.
